Details at the sunflower fields east of Denver

I love seeing the vast fields filled with row upon row of sunflower.  However, this time visiting the fields I wanted to challenge myself to see more of the intimate details.  I really enjoyed looking closer for photo opportunities and stepping away from the traditional landscape with sunrise or sunset image. I loved all the pollen on the leaves.  Plus, the veins on them made for neat lines.  I also enjoyed the bees!  The bee had so much pollen, it blended right into the flower.  In the morning the sunflower petals still had dew on them.  The expressive petals with water drops were so magnificent.  I couldn’t pass by capturing the beauty. Which is your favorite?  Did you see the bee right away or did it take you a minute? 20140811-DSC_9129 20140811-DSC_9052 20140811-DSC_9062
