I got out to cheer on and photograph the USA Pro Challenge cyclists! What fun it was while it lasted – maybe 10 minutes. It was a perfect 80 degree filled with sunshine ride down 93 south towards Golden and Lookout Mountain. The riders sure do ride quickly! Blink your eyes and you’d all but miss them passing by. Lots of support vehicles, photo, media, judges, timers and medics escorting them. I really enjoyed the official procycling vehicle coming by about a mile ahead of the pack giving us more information and getting the people ready to cheer! The police vehicles would beep their sirens as they passed roaring up the crowd. There was even a dog barking on cue as the horns beeped and the crowd cheered. A fun sporting event to watch and enjoy. If you didn’t get out today, here are a few photos to give you an idea of what you missed. Enjoy! Did you get out to cheer? Where’d you watch?
