I will admit, I’m usually not that impressed by the color in Colorado. I do enjoy the aspen forest in certain parts of the state, but on the whole it is usually a disappoint. This year is different. I am LOVING the reds, oranges and yellows. I am a Massachusetts native and a tough sell for foliage. The New England colors and trees are usually hard to beat. Nonetheless, I believe the wet September on the front range of Colorado has made this year a beauty for fall color! I have gone out to capture a bit of the aspens and also around town to see other colors, leaves, etc. I have had fun exploring and finding new scenes. It has been a tough fall with no elk rut with the roads to Estes Park closed and then Rocky Mountain National Park closed, but I’m enjoying anyways. Where have you been out to see the fall colors?
