Bighorn Sheep During Rut

Bighorn Sheep During Rut

I recently went out in search of bighorn sheep since November through December is the rut for them.  Because of the rut, they are usually found in herds with a few males.  I was not disappointed on this trip as I found a great herd very close and pretty decent to capture.  I had fun watching them graze and enjoy the beautiful day.  They unfortunately didn’t do any head butting and fighting, but they were still amazing.  Hope you enjoy my many male bighorn sheep photos.
