As the end of 2013 is upon us, I am reflecting back at a year of photography. I am loving how much I have grown, learned and changed as a photographer. With that in mind, I decided to pick one photo and tell its story as my favorite moment capturing photos in 2013. Mind you this was no easy task picking among all my moments during the year. Here goes: I was up early and wondering through Rocky Mountain National Park, as was usual for me. Across my path stumbles a new fawn and its mother. The young baby, barely able to hold itself up, stumbled to keep up with the doe. I was amazed and in awe of nature and the pureness of this little newborn. I was cheering for it to make it to mom as the fawn seemed so fragile. Once it made it across to its mom, it stood right underneath her for protection and a little reassurance. So sweet and such a beautiful morning.
