Dottie enjoyed a full adventure trying to spot eagles and other birds at the Barr Lake State Park. What an adventure she had! First, she tried to see out the binoculars to get a closer look at those eagles. They sure are far away. Law says that a nest cannot be disturbed and humans must remain a 1/2 mile away. Thank goodness for binoculars, so she could get a closer look! She was tired after all that searching for birds and hiking through the boardwalks and trails, so a drink was called for! She did spot a great blue heron and got to see the eagle guarding its nest. A beautiful place and a perfect spring day for an outing to Barr Lake. Until the next adventure!
