What a great time I had at the Denver Chalk Art Festival yesterday morning! There were so many great artists working hard on the sidewalk. It was a hot day with the sun out in full force. It can’t be easy drawing with chalk on the street! First, you have to contort yourself so that the part already drawn will not get smudged or ruined. Ouch. I saw lots of knee pads, mini rugs, gardening mats, etc. to help alleviate the pain from sitting for hours on the street making art. I loved the art as well as the spectators. Here’s the festival through my eyes.
