I was out recently for a hike with a friend and I looked up in the tree only to see a bald eagle perched. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera with me. We finished our hike and I decided to risk heading home grabbing my camera gear and coming back. Surely, I thought the eagle would have flown away in that time. To my surprise I found TWO bald eagles perched upon my return. Unfortunately, one took flight right away, but the other stayed there for quite a while and I was able to capture some pretty fun images. 
Eventually the 2nd one took flight as well. I wasn’t able to capture it completely clear, but still pretty decent. Then I sat and watched as they soared over my head. I could see both soaring, but they sure do fly high!
