I have to admit I was a little nervous about doing my first art show. There’s so much that goes into getting it right! Thankful I bought my panels last winter in preparation for doing shows and that the setup for the show was the day before. It gave me plenty of time to get set up and ready to go! Getting my first visitors to the booth was exciting and wonderful. Ok, I was a little scared too. But fears and nervousness were put aside almost immediately with the amazing positive responses I received from visitors. Comments included “your photos are awe-inspiring” to “amazing work” to “you have a gift” to double takes when walking by my booth. I loved watching people’s reaction to my photography with smiles and laughs. Some even grabbed a friend or family member to show them a piece. I also enjoyed engaging with visitors who asked questions about locations, scenery and more. Sharing my story and having others appreciate my efforts is why I do this. I love nature and all it offers; the serenity, the fun of wildlife and the joys of finally catching the scene you’ve been patiently waiting for. Although I personally find taking photographs a thrill, it was wonderful to see others feeling and appreciating it through my work. Can’t wait to do more shows and interact with more customers. I love the feedback and the inspiration. Bring it on folks! I’m here to share my love of nature and wildlife with you in your home.
